Louisa QUARMAN 25 - N

Have included the whole 1841 dwelling return, since the SEALES's may turn out to be related.

Probable marriage of her (Louisa's parents) is on FreeBMD as:

George QUARMAN and Louisa STREET on same page

Seems like on Census', they picked an age out of a hat for George, and Louisa snr!!

1871: 8 Bishop Street - Bristol, Bedminster,  Somersetshire
RG10 / Piece: 2507 / Folio: 92 / Page: 24
Head: George QUARMAN 42 48, Nailor, b Bristol
Wife: Louisa QUARMAN 56, b Tockington nr Bristol, Glos.
Dau: Pamelia QUARMAN 10, b Bristol

1881: 17 Providence Place - Bristol, Bedminster,  Somersetshire
Head: George P QUARMAN 61, widower, Tanners Labourer, b Bristol
Dau: Pamelia QUARMAN 21, unm, Brush Maker, b Bristol
Boarder: Martha JAMES 34, married, Housekeeper, b Bristol
Daughter: Elizabeth JAMES 8, Scholar, b Bristol
Daughter: Louisa JAMES 4 months, b Bristol

Call me suspicious, but I can't see a Louisa(e) JAMES birth registered Bedminster 1880/1881 - there is one though, for a Louisa QUARMAN in Mar Qtr 1881.......

Cheers

You're welcome, Leandra  Smiley

They're quite visible in the Census once that 1861 was sorted. Much more to find if you want to (just sing out) The  4 girls:  Emma, Mary, Rosina and Pamela all married by the looks of FreeBMD.

Also, a descendant of Pamela has a tree on A*****cestry. She married a DAGGER.

And a descendant of Rosina has information on GR. She married a BUTLER.
