Michael Gardner and family of Ampney Crucis, Now Complete.

Looking for Census1841/1851/1861/1871/ 1891/1901  info on the following please if possible.

One single query relating to information received below.
 
John Gardner is noted in 1861 and 1881 at home with parents Michael and Mary Gardner. Dont think he would have strayed far can anyone assist and see if he remained in the village of Ampney Crucis or Ampney St Mary in 1871?



Michael Gardner bapt 16 Feb 1823 Died 1900
wife Mary Wait bapt c1825 Died 1904
still in Ampney Crucis in 1881 with son John aged 30

Children
James bapt 5 Nov 1848 Ampney Crucis
John bapt 4 May 1851 Ampney Crucis
William b. 21 Jan 1856 Ampney Crucis
married Rose Ann Witchard 7 Oct 1880 living Stonehouse 1881
Elizabeth bapt 30 Sep 1860 Ampney Crucis died 1873 aged 12 years
Tom bapt 1865 died in infancy.
There may be a Jane in there somewhere but not overly sure.

The name Gardner became Gardiner during Williams life time.

Particularly keen on the boys........thanks so much

I`ve never seen Infant Unpaphad on a census before, but thats what itts says on A.......y.Perhaps the child was just born?Could well be the son John?

First of all thankyou Steve 100 for your response to my additional request for 1851 and 1861 Census info.

It would appear that James died very young as he does not appear on subsequent census's after his initial appearance in 1851 aged 2 although there is a possibility that he was brought up elsewhere.

Jane also if her existance is correct would also appear to have died young.

I would like to locate Michael and Mary in 1891 and one last request is to find Mary Gardner in the 1901 Census Michael having died in 1900 but she did not die until 1904 if the information I have is accurate. A last chance Steve for you to earn a bar to go with your gold star!!

I would like to know if you have a profession for Anthony Gardner and if he might have been a shipwright living in Malta please? I am on the hunt for an Anthony Gardner who stopped off in Waterford City c. 1799 - 1800, married, had one child and appears to disappear.

I've just come across a will dated 1819. It is of a Susanna Creed of Ampney St Mary. In it she mentions her daughter Elizabeth who is marrid to a Nathaniel Gardner. Is it anything to do with your lot?
