What are the names of your Turkingtons please.The copies at the LRO are filmed copies from the origials which I assume will be at London.You will find that many names are transcribed wrongly I have about six or seven variations on my name Livesey.What area of Lancashire are you looking at?If they are in the workhouse there may be some admission books available to search
