1851 Census Morris Family Great Easton
« on: Wednesday 24 June 09 22:14 UTC (UK) »

I would be eternally grateful if someone would be so kind to look up any information in the 1851 census records the family name of Morris in Great Easton, Leicestershire.  I know that in the 1841 census there were only 2 families.  I am particularly interested in a Robert Morris, b. about 1781 in Rutland.  He was listed as a publican in the 1841 census.  I am also interested in obtaining any information on a Robert Morris, born about 1811, a James Morris born about 1816 and a William Morris, born about 1811.  In the 1841 census William was listed as a butcher.  Thank you very much.

Thank you so much for the 1851 census information.  Would it be possible to see what is in the 1861 census for the Morris family?  I do believe that the 2 Robert Morris (father/son) were publicans at a pub named the Old Plough Inn in Caldecott.  Thank you.

Would anyone be able to look up the Morris family in the Caldecott, Rutland 1871 census records for me.  I know there was a William b. abt. 1811 (probably widower), a Robert b. abt. 1811, retired publican/innkeeper, (probably unmarried), a James b. abt. 1816, farmer, (was married to a Mary) and a Jane b. abt. 1817, housekeeper/innkeeper (unmarried in 1861 census).  The above four mentioned individuals are all siblings to each other. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
