Donald Calder b: 9 Feb 1868 Shianfedaig, Lybster, Caithness married Ann Hendry b: 27 April 1870 Stirkoke, Wick, Caithness...Children:
Donald b: 1893 Edinburgh
Catherine b: 1898 Edinburgh
Alexander b: 1890 Edinburgh
Ann b: 1901 Edinburgh

I think Catherine married a Archie McLeish

Any information on the children born in Edinburgh would be greatly appreciated

Hi Blandy this info you have posted, is it from a Census or some family docs? I have looked at the 1901 Scotland census and have found the family living in Edinburgh in Grove Street. The parents do come from Caithness and were married 11 Dec 1891 in Edinburgh. The dates for the children correspond but the youngest child must have been born after the census was taken. The easiest way to get the children is to look on ScotlandsPeople. The years between 1893 and 1901 reveal some 35 Calders born in the district that your family reside. Suggest you read the post on Optimizing ScotlandsPeople searches so you don't waste credits hunting for the right Calder family. If you want any other help just let me know, T
