Hi,
I'm trying to trace the ancestry of my grandmother. Her name was Lucie Kuenzi, and she migrated to England from Swtizerland about a century ago....
I've tried some sites on the internet, but I'm a novice at these things!
Any tips would be greatly appreciated....

Yes, my understanding is that she was born just about at the turn of the century, maybe 1900....
I don't think she left Switzerland for England until after WWI.

Lucie Kuenzi's marriage is shown in 1936 in Hampstead - the marriage certificate will show her father's name and occupation and address/witness names that might help track down other relatives in the UK.
In the 1911 census there does appear to be a Lucile Berthe Lina Kuenzi b. about 1898 Switzerland, living in Epsom - not sure if this is related. She is listed as niece, and the family are Martins:
William Henry Martin, b. 1871 and Emma Fanny, b. 1867 (b. Switzerland, maiden name Vögeli), and their children.
This is as much as I can get out of the free details - I would suggest getting the marriage certificate first, and then if it looks like Lucile is the same as your Lucie, then we can dig in to try and find the connection.
