The Dunbars of Madeley
« on: Wednesday 08 July 09 20:39 UTC (UK) »

Hi,

I have records of two marriages; Andrew Donbar  (born Madeley 4/1/1764) to Ann Shepherd on Aug/29/1798 at Little Wenlock and his son Isaac Dunbar (born Madeley 25/5/1804) to Mary Page on Jan/30/1832 at Madeley.

Where I need a bit of help is finding the birth records of both Ann Shepherd and Mary Page. Can anyone help please?

                                                          Thanks.

You haven't given any details of either Ann or Mary's birthyear  or birthplace to assist in a search for any records

The 1851 shows Mary was b Wellington c 1803

The 1841 shows Ann aged 65 b Shropshire - no precise area

As ages were rounded down to the nearest 5 years in 1841 = Ann could have been born between 1772-1776
