I am looking for a marriage between Peter Slader and Elizabeth Burgess in North Molton about 1817.

I believe they had at least 2 children

Elizabeth bap 25 Jun 1818
William bap 3 May 1820

I am also trying to work out Peter Slader's parents

I would suggest contacting the OPC for North Molton - see this webpage under genealogy for details: http://genuki.cs.ncl.ac.uk/DEV/NorthMolton/index.html
Of course, they may not have married at North Molton - possibly South Molton or any of a number of other local parishes. The same OPC covers South Molton as well.
The Devon FHS provides a marriage and birth index by surname. I would suggest asking for SL*D* to allow for spelling variants and transcription errors. The bride's name is also given in the index. To order this, go to:
