im lookin for any info on the walters family they lived at the new in at sandling fathers name was charles mother anne two daughters ruth e,b,1866, julia b,1867,8

theres a Ruth & Julia Walter of those ages, with an Ann in this Household, shes not shown as HEAD, but its a household with own Schedule and properly delimited from the previous one with a //:-

seems right - Ann Barden has the same age & PoB of Langley as Ann Walter shows in 1871 ..

who - Charles ?

Marriage Cert would have his occupation in 1864.

Might be the same in 1861 census if I can find him .... need his age etc - marriage Cert will also give his Fathers name  .... age might be on Death Index (if accurate) as its post-1866.

Theres 2 Maidstone deaths - one in 1867, aged 66, so given age and dau's DoBs, doubt it.

So ........................

Deaths Mar 1868   
 
Walter  Charles  age 33  Maidstone  v2a p334

is a strong possibility, but hes a bit younger than Ann then ?

Theres a Charles Walter, exact fit on age in 1861 Maidstone, a Furniture Polisher ..... father John.

RG9/500; Folio: 38; Page: 10

Personally I'd remove doubt and get the Marriage Cert
