hi i am looking for
Hannibal swales born about 1811 in durham he was an earthen ware dealer .
he was married to a chrisiana b)1811 in yorkshire.
children on 51 census lavinia b)1837 yorks and francis b)1840.
i have lookes for the 41 census and just cant find it can anyone help please

this is a possibility perhaps for Lavinia but not so sure  Undecided

1841 HO107; Piece 317; Book: 27;  Folio: 30; Page: 24

Cherry Lane Stockton on Tees

John Burnside 60 yrs dealer in earthenware
Mary Burnside 60 yrs
Vina Swales 4 yrs

none born in county

There is a John Swales with wife Vina and family a couple of entries above- including a girl Christian  - I think that this Vina may be part of that family.

Have you seen Family Search where 'Lovina Swales' daughter of Hannibal and Christiana is baptised 1842 Stockton?

I think there must be a tie with these Swales.

i will keep  that on file it looks like they could be related .i suppose hannibal could have been travelling on census night.
