Woburn Gravestones
« on: Friday 26 June 09 01:49 UTC (UK) »

Hi I was wondering if anyone lived in/near Woburn who could take a photograph of two graves for me?

One is a plaque and / or grave for Robert Salmon who died in 1821

The other is the family grave of the Osborn Family, which includes Lucy Matilda (died 1830), her daughters Elizabeth Ann and Catherine Emma and her husband John (died 1857).

Thank you

Hellow Marianne,i have had a look around the cemetry at St.Mary's church,i have been unable to find the graves listed on your post, but there is some good news, the plaque for Robert Salmon is on the wall inside the church.I shall post the photograph of the plaque for you in the near future.I will also contact the vicar to see if there is a plan of where the burials are,i have been told there is a plan to record the inscriptions on the head stone's but from what i have seen there is quite a few of the older stone's that are time and weather eroded,i did take some pictures of both the church and the cemetry i can also include these if you would like them.
