Hi anyone help with the death of a william rowe born 1896 leeds married doris watson he was a mechanic i cant find nothing i know he was alive in the 1950's so im guessing he died between the 1950's to 1970 in leeds anyone help with st.catherines index  Grin

Searching a 20 year period in the GRO index is quite a task. Sad But you never know Smiley

Perhaps you could check your local family history society or archives dept to see if they have them, if you don't have online access.

Hi,
As maidmarion says searching 20 yrs of Index is quite a task.

In addtion to the places she mentions where the GRO fiche are held, quite a few Public Libraries hold them and maybe you can phone a library near you to check out where you can access these.
