I'm looking for information on the siblings Ann b. 1842, Thomas b. 1846, Selena/Selina b. 1850 and Charles b. 1862, father was William Harris. Their eldest sister Elizabeth emigrated to Australia in 1850s, and there was another brother William.

Thanks for that. This is the right family. I am trying to find out what happened to the girls & Thomas after this time, difficult to find them on the England census.

I think these might help
1881 Gidley Arms Inn Meshaw William H widower 57 NK William s s 21 Meshaw Charles s s 19 Meshaw
RG/11/2240
1881 Selina is a servant at Beaufort House Exeter (RG11/2145)
1891 Anchor Inn 66 South Street South Molton Charles H m 29 innkeeper Meshaw Elizabeth w m 28 Christ Church Hants Maud d s 2 S Molton Charles W s s 2wks S Molton William father widower Cruwys Morchard

It looks like the following might be yours too
Thomas Harris death 1857 South Molton Ann Harris marriage to George Thorn Mar 1861 S Molton 5b 753 Jane Harris marriage to Robert Cann Dec 1874 S Molton 5b 829 William Harris married to Elizabeth Ann Nott Dec 1886 South Molton 5b 809 Charles Harris married Elizabeth Rhoda Heywood Sep 1889 South Molton 5b 761
There are a couple of marriages for Selina but nothing definite in the 1891 census, which would confirm it.
Regards H

Thanks for that. I think you are right with the marriages, I had found some of them, but you may have filled in some of the gaps. I'll let you know how I go.
Any info. on these families after 1900 would be appreciated.

Don't think its the right family. My William Harris was married to an Ann Adams in Swimbridge, Devon 1839.

I have a Charles Harris in my family tree (my great grandfather on my mother's side of the family). He was married to Elizabeth Rhoda Heywood and they lived in South Molton - if he is connected to your tree I would be pleased to share information with you. Regards Anne

I have 2 Charles Harris in my family. The older one married an Elizabeth Carter in 1888 in South Molton. He was born about 1862 in Meshaw, Devon. His son Charles W was born in 1891 in South Molton.
Are either of these your Charles Harris? I have very little info. on either.

Sorry but I don't think we have a link. No Charles William in my tree - my Charles was a Charles John. Obviously lots of Harris' around the South Molton area! Good luck with your research. Regards Anne
