Did William or Samuel live in Argyll as I can't see an 1841/51 census entry for either of them

surinam was in british guiana thats where william was born his death cert says Samuel was born lisburn co ireland 1780 and he was a colour sgt in the 64th reg of foot in the nat archives the only samuel i could find came from campbelltown argyleshire

I'm a bit puzzled

If William says his father Samuel was born in Lisburn Ireland, then the Samuel you found b Cambeltown cannot be him
