I am trying to find out about a great uncle of mine Major Lee b1876 on the 1901 census he is living in Bradford with wife Hannah and son Arthur W. all i can find out after that date is that he is buried in Usworth holy trinity church yard i have been to the grave yard to have a look around but cannot find a grave, Durham Records office don't hold any records, would like to know if anyone could find anything on him or his wife and son after 1901.

Have you tried the 1911 census. There is a family living in Cheshire, Chester which seems to fit yours.

The 1911 census index seems to show him in Chester in 1911, also in the household are Hannah Marie Lee aged 30, Arthur William Lee aged 11 and Dorothy Marvell Lee aged 1.

For the record, Dorothy Marvell Lee's birth was registered in the 1st quarter of 1910, Newcastle on Tyne, 10b 10

Thanks for this Dorothy is a new member, don't  have a date for his death i was told he was in Usworth cemetery because his mother and brother & sister are there but no date of death sorry.
