Sculcoates Lookup ?

Can someone do a death lookup in Sculcoates?
I am trying to find the death of Nancy(Ann) Pickering.She was born Leven(1802) and she and her mother(Nancy) were living Kingston Upon Hull in 1851.The mother died Jun 1852 Hull.Nancy (Ann) does not show up in 1861 so I am thinking she may have died although marriage is an option.
There is a death in Hull Mar 1851 but I am assuming this would be before the census(?).The death Hull Jun 1863 is not the right one.
There are two in Sculcoates- Mar 1855 and Mar 1858 which would make Nancy(Ann) 53 and 58.

Hi Ed,

There is an Ann Pickering on the 1861 Census living at 19 Georges Place, Hull & born c1802 at Beverley which is only about 7 miles from Leven (Class: RG9; Piece: 3587; Folio: 115; Page: 30) She was down as a widow.

Also a death for an Ann Pickering in Oct/Dec 1870 at Drypool aged 69.

Ann from Beverly is not the right one.Drypool is a possible.Since she was a spinster up to 1851 I think she probably did not marry which makes finding the right one harder.Too bad they did not register under her baptised name of nancy.

Ed, had a quick look on ancestry for you Nancy pickering, found a lot of her siblings, and her parents if you want info, just one pointer though, she had a brother, Henry Mercer pickering who emigrated to canada, wonder if she went there? cheers, Cookie.

Thanks Cookie.
I have her parents and siblings.I know all about Henry/Harry and there is no sign of her in Canada.My only recourse is to purchase death certificates and hope I get lucky early in the hunt unless someone is able to do a lookup and finds a spinster of the right age-thats assuming she did not marry after her mother died.
