WELLS Charles Joseph 1920's

Is there another re-searcher out there who has come across a Charles Joseph WELLS in the Wellington Area circa 1920's. He may, or may not, have been married to a Jane Elizabeth GUBBINS. I have tried all the usual search's but can find no referance although I know he was in Wellington during the 1920's. Any help will be most welcome.

There are no records of a WELLS Charles Joseph getting married in NZ at all, do you have info on
the people you mention? do you know what part of Wellington they were from ?
