Obit... Weekly News 1931
« on: Saturday 27 June 09 02:17 UTC (UK) »

Hi

I am hoping that someone out there can access copies of Weekly News for the date 22nd Sept 1931 page 32.

Interested in finding the Obit of Isabella LOGAN formerly MILLER nee YOUNG.  Her father was David YOUNG and her husbands were Robert MILLER and James LOGAN.  Interested to find out if it mentions children or the death of Robert MILLER.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated

With thanks

Karenlee

Hi Karenlee

Just interested to know why you have specified the "Weekly News"  ?

You don't say where the death occurred  ... was it Auckland ?

I specified this because I have a reference to it from a NZ researcher who saw it many years ago before we knew for certain that there was a connection with this lady.

Cheesy    My reason for asking was, that the same information might also have been obtained from another, more readily accessible newspaper, in the same locality.

But as you have specific details, then you can make a request for this look-up, direct to the National Library of New Zealand (see their website for details).
