Hello fellow searchers
I am looking for any information on
CHARLOTTE ANN LUNNON who married HENRY DENNE (occupation baker) in 1842. They had 3 known children Lydia (abt: 1845) Elizabeth (1851) and James (1853) who were born in Middlesex. Their children moved to Australia in 1871.
Charlottes father Joseph Lunnon had died at the time of marriage and Henry Dennes father John was listed a Gentleman.
I can't find any records of Charlotte or Henrys deaths..or census listings? Can anyone help??

This looks like Charlotte's Death
Charlotte Ann Denne 1860 4q St Giles, Middlesex Vol Page 1b 258
This may be 2 of her sons deaths
Henry Denne b-abt 1842 age 25 1867 3rd q Pancras, London or Middlesex Vol 1b Page 34
John Denne b-abt 1844 age 25 1869 3rd q Pancras, London or Middlesex Vol 1b Page 28

I haven't located them 1871, I think they could be there as they arr Aus on the Royal Dane 2 Dec 1871.
1871 Census was held-Sun/Mon. 2/3rd April 1871
Take note of Henry's Occupation 1861 Census, that may help in locating when he was last Licenced.

 Thank you, they are both well behaved!
As and Henry didnt marry until 1842 we should be able to find them both on 1841 census.

March 1842, Poplar, 2 248
Could the John SNEME on 1851 census be Henrys Father not Uncle?

Hi Trish.. I am trying to find them on the 1841 census, but am not having much luck..
I have found a Mary Ann Lunnon on the 1851 census, who I believe is Charlottes mother...they were married in Bromley and she is living in Bromley
I do have the wedding certificate for Charlotte and Henry..that is the only thing I have been able to find before today, which confirms that John Denne was Henrys father and was still alive. So i think it is very possible that John SNEME was Henrys father..but I am finding the 1851 census really hard to read and can't even work out what Henrys job was supposed to be..a something master!!!

OOPS nearly forgot there is a submitted christening for Henry on IGI;
Henry DENNE
27 July 1817, St Peters, Sandwich, Kent
Parents John and Elizabeth
Sandwick is wrong as Henrys POB on 1851 census, no such place in Kent, so this confirms it is Sandwich if right

Could Johns POB be Littlebourne as it is longer than Littleham and at least it exists.
I googled Littlebourne Kent and a page of marriages comes up . Have a look, got to GO
