I'm new
« on: Sunday 28 June 09 01:54 UTC (UK) »

Hi, I’m new here, just joined!  I have been looking around and can see that everyone is just so friendly so I can’t wait to get started but I have to get all my information organized before I even try to ask any questions.  And learn my way around!  I feel a little intimidated but I guess I’ll get the hang of it.  Some of my ancestors are Cajuns and some go back to England and Wales so I will need lots of help!  That’s all for now but I’ll be back soon!   Smiley Smiley

Welcome Della.  No matter where your ancestors hailed from, there is bound to be someone here on Rootschat that will be able to help you out.

Good luck with the search.

Hi Della and welcome to rootschat.

When you post with a query, if you have info such as some dates and places for the person, do include it.  it's very helpful to those doing lookups .

Good to have you join in Grin

It is wonderful.  Awesome!  I am trying to be methodical and read the hints for beginners and How to Use Rootschat so I'll know what's what but there is so much!!  And I keep finding things that divert me.   Cheesy

I am flattered to be welcomed by people with thousands and thousands of posts.  How do you get so many?  It is really impressive.  I have so far to go.

Just by answering other peoples posts and putting our own posts up for help.   Once you get into the swing of things and find your way around, you will soon be answering posts as well Grin

We were all in the same boat as you once and I know I was amazed by the number of posts of Rootschatters. Grin

Cheers
