Titchener/Thitchener Watchmaker birth

 Looking for either Thomas C Thitchener or William J Thitchener B1801 & 1806 respectively in St Lukes Parish, both watchmakers known to have traded at a number of addresses in the locality. Hit the brick wall on finding birth records although have marriage and death records.
Descendents of my GGGrandfather William Josephat are Henry(B1841), William (B1845),Robert (B1846) - Francis Sydney (B1867), Alfred Percy (B1869), Amy (B1874), George (B1875) - Arthur Alex (B1905) Alfred George (B1909), Frank Francis (B1911) and George Stephen (B1912).
I'd be absolutely delighted if you could help  and very happy to pass on my findings.

The name Thitchener has 'morphed' several times into 'TWITCHING(S)' plenty with that name who were watchmakers in the St Lukes area ......... I know because I have searched in that location.
You could try that and other variations too see.
I am a great believer that when events are recorded it is quite possible,perhaps probable, that any,or all, of the participants had poor education,had a speech or hearing deformity or were drunk (or all four).

Thanks once again Carole, unfortunately, we can't tie any of those in except Amelia and William Purdue, and our Thomas & William are recorded as being born in the very elusive 'St Luke's' parish.
