Thats an interesting point you have made, Maggie. There are some folks I would love to allow a view of my living relatives and others where I would hesitate. I wish that were possible.

I just dont know why some people copy everything which you allow them to see. Earlier I noticed a contact had copied some details about my stepfather, although he wasnt really. It hurt me considerably but, as he was dead his details are visible. Its an old moan I know but why do people just try to add everything to their tree?

To follow on from my previous message; I have had a phone call from the 'granny' of the chap from Genes.  She lives locally and I have arranged to go and see her soon.  My mum was her cousin and she remembers my grandparents, mum and my aunt and uncles.  I have lots to tell her and she is looking forward to seeing a photo of her grandmother that I have.  A success story for Genes!

I was being a bit impatient, perhaps, but I have had so many disappointments on Genes that I wasn't expecting to hear anything.
