Hi, is anyone in Manchester related to the above, mostley from the, Hulme, Ardwick and Ancoats area's, Iam researching the Clarke family tree, as usual with two world wars to break links where people up and leave an area, also where women tended to register their children in the name of the father without being married, he then goe's off to war with little chance of returning or if doing so marry's a total different girl ,whith the mother of his children now married ,with more childred, to another chap. THese people are very difficult to follow up but I would appreciate any help especially from the Legge of Hulme or maybe Paticroft, Eccles, who maybe moved to Liverpool Toxteth area, re named Charles Legge, born 1884
