Hi
I've tracked William Nightingale/Nightengale and his wife/widow through each of the censuses from 1851 to 1881, when they were in London. I think I've also found his wife, Charlotte, in Hertfordshire in 1841 but William is nowhere to be seen. Can anyone find him?
He was born in Hertford in 1809 (and died in Lambeth in 1879), and married Charlotte in St Leonard's, Shoreditch in 1830. By 1841 they had had Walter b 1833 d 1834, Walter b 1835, Martha (maybe Mary) b 1837, James b 1839 and Sarah Ann b Feb 1841. Martha, James and Sarah Ann were each in the 1851 census.
There is a Mary, 4, with Charlotte in 1841. Where's William?
