i have come across some interesting info on lots of crimes and punishments in northumberland and durham. maybe i can help anyone .(1837-1900,s )

Hi there

I would be interested if there is anything for a William Baxter between 1861 and 1871 - he is in Parkhurst jail in the latter census.  He was born about 1820 in Bamburgh.

The other one is for a Christiana or Catherine Johnson before 1861 when she was in goal in Willington.  She was born about 1818 in Sunderland and was the wife of Peter Johnson.
