The quickest certificate yet

Hi all

I ordered a certificate late tuesday evening and it arrived today. It is the quickest one yet and it's the right one.

They can't be very busy at the GRO. Are they also feeling the pinch?

In the days before the deluge of certificate enquiries launched by Who Do You Think You Are, I remember that I regularly used to get certificates 4 days after I ordered them. Perhaps people are on holiday at the moment and so not ordering? Or maybe there's a new series of WDYTYA coming soon and they've taken on extra staff to deal with an expected rise in demand?

Anyway, glad for you that it was the right one.  Smiley

I also ordered a marriage cert tuesday and it arrived this morning ,   i was quite surprised as it said dispatch date would be the 6th
