Good afternoon,

I would be very grateful for help with the transcriptions for the 1851, 1861 & 1871 censuses for the following household:

John COZENS b. Welwyn, Herts 1821  Occ: Painter & Glazier
Caroline (wife, née BUTT), b. Wandsworth 1824

They married in 1846 and had the following children:

- Frederick b. 1849
- Thomas b. 1850
- Rueben b. 1852
- Walter James b. 1859
- Annie Louisa b. 1862
- William John b. 1864
- Rosina b. 1866
- Caroline Matilda b. 1872    All children seem to be born Islington.

i can find no birth record of an ann cozens in either richmond surrey or indeed the whole of surrey
between 1845-1850.

I can't see her either. The 1861 census writing is awful but it does look like Ann. I wonder if she died (but I can't find that either), as they seem to have another Annie b.1862.

Many thanks for completing the census info for 1851 & 1861.

The Annie Louisa b. 1862 is the right one in fact, born Islington I confirm.
