James Goldie Walker
« on: Thursday 09 July 09 06:54 UTC (UK) »

My great grandmother was Nellie Maria Walker (b1885 Plumstead), she married Charles Kemp in 1910.  On her marriage cert. her father is named as James Goldie Walker.

I can't seem to pinpoint James GOLDIE Walker, surely his name is not that common  Huh  Any ideas?

Thank you in advance x  Grin

James G WALKER age 35 fitter & turner born Canning Town
wife Emily age ?5 born Erith, Kent
James T? age 12 milk boy born Erith
Emily R age 11 born Plumstead
John S age 10 born Plumstead
Richard C age 8
Elizabeth B age 7
Nellie M age 6
Albert W age 3
widowed mother Elizabeth age 72? occupation is given as ???Kenoby son born Adlingfleet ?Yorks

The ages have been crossed through so are not easy to decipher  Undecided

I'd value other Rootschatters opinions on what Elizabeth's occupation is.  Huh

I think Elizabeth's occupation is "Kept by son".
