7th Dragoon Guards

I wonder if anyone can help me find info on the 7th Dragoon Guards.  I have an ancestor who died in service between 1857-1862.  This would have been after the Crimean war. Are any records available to view.

Have had a look at the 7th DG for that period, they were based either in the UK or India, you best bet would be to try Free BMD to see if there's a Death Certificate for him in the UK if not, you could try the National Archives to see if they hold any records.
