Name of a ship in port....

I'm sure I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel for an answer now.
Is there any way to find out what British Navy vessels were in Perth, Western Australia in the months of June July August September in 1946? Sad

Hi Emma

I am sure that the local newspapers would have recorded the visit. A posting in the right Australia section may be better, starting with a request for the names of the newspaper(s).

You should also include Freemantle, as it may have berthed there.
