Hi
I'm currently having the most trouble as I have ancestors born between Censuses and can't find a marriage certificate for Albert Fletcher & a Mary Ellen (nee Wardle) its very frustrating as they seem to appear within census periods and their approximate year dates more than likely are incorrect.
A son of theirs born Sep 1898 was the first born so an approximate age I came up with was approx 1860 and that seems unlikely as I don't know Albert Fletcher's Fathers Name or Mary Ellen Wardle's Parents names either so looking at census records seems to run me around in circles.
Tried to have someone look into the Registry for me and there's no record around surrounding counties of Yorkshire so im at a loss as I can't find a marriage certificate to even get back further still.
Albert Fletcher Born approx 1860 - 1872 (born in Yorkshire, not confirmed) Died 1949 (in Huddersfield)
Mary Ellen Wardle Born approx 1865 -1870 (born in Manchester)
Had approximately 18 children 3 sets of twins
If anyone can help that would be great

Albert Fletcher (father) (Born Huddersfield or Sheffield somewhere in Yorkshire) (occupation Market Gardiner (Employer))
Mary Ellen Wardle (mother) (Born in Manchester Yorkshire from my notes)
Children Known of Albert & Mary
Frank Wardle Fletcher born Sep 1898 Huddersfield area (No Marriage Cert couldn't find it either) he married a Joyce Naomi Gardiner
Ellenor Fletcher Born 19?? Married a Jim Millen or Millens (they had no issue) (Not too sure about the spelling of Ellenor's Name
18 children in total
3 sets of twins
Set 1 Boy Girl
Set 2 Boy Boy
Set 3 Boy Girl
Albert Fletcher's Date of death was approximate by my grandfather 1949 ish (which also wasn't very helpful)

There is a marriage in Huddersfield on Free BMD Sept Qtr 1894 9a 633
Joe Albert Fletcher and listed on same page is Mary Eleanor Wardall.
I found Frank W in 1901 and his father is given as Ive Albert, probably mistranscribed and should be Joe.
I'll check the image.

You should be able to find his details in 1881 on Familysearch.
1891 living Fartown, Huddersfield.
Mary A wid age 52 born Lincolnshire, Garthorpe?
Joe A age 21 Brass works lab
Percy S age 18
John H age 16
Alfred Harris, boarder
All children born Huddersfield.
1871
Joseph Fletcher age 34 Finisher born Surrey
Mary A 31
Emily C age 8
George F age 4
Joe Albert age 1
Address Bradford Rd, Fartown

Now you know Joe Albert's age you should be able to find him on the 1911 census.
