Thought I saw someone had posted a message re John Pettigrew and Agnes Hislop. I have this same John Pettigrew born c 1820 son of Gavin Pettigrew and Helen Manners (they married 1817, Lanark) Would like to find out more about Gavin Pettigrew if possible.

Thank you for directing me to the info re Agnes Pettigrew: she married John Pettigrew (as shown) and their dau Helen Manners Pettigrew m Harry Brown Scott, thence to Australia with their chn.
Still looking for info on John's father Gavin Pettigrew b c 1795-1840. if anyone can help.
