Alexander Struthers East Kilbride.
« on: Tuesday 30 June 09 05:48 UTC (UK) »

I am looking for evidence that Alexander Struthers and his wife Janet Grange were buried in East
Kilbride. Possibly around 1760 for Alexander and Janet's date is unknown.   If anybody has some records of this cemetery I would appreciate any details of them.

Hi Bevty and Baird

Alexander and Janet look to have been having children up to at least 1788. Births appear to have been registered at West Rogerton, Rogerton, East Kilbride if this help Baird.

There is also this link on the family www.chouston.f2s.com/Alltrees/fam24022.htm

Small world as I have Struthers from West Rogerton Farm in my 'Tree'. Descendants of Andrew Struthers and Margaret McCallister.
Andrew died at West Rogerton Farm September 4th. 1846.Children Andrew , Janet, Robert, Lilias and John.
Son Andrew born at West Rogerton 1807 married a Janet Shearer and one of their children was Margaret Struthers who married my Great Great Grandfather William Baird at Rogerton Farm in 1867.
