The last known address for one of my relatives is in 1923 - Carnuba/Carnuta House, Quarrington Hill, Durham. Does anyone know how I can find out if this house is still there?

Hi Jayaydee,

Try this site and if necessary email them. Its areas include the Village of Quarrington. On the site is a list of people living there in 1938 also.

It's quite a good site but a bit of a shame that so few of the photos have text.

I also struggled with the very bright green on the message and guestbook pages!!

It took about 5 minutes for my eyes to re-adjust LOL.
