I have been to Tyne & Wear Archives to trace a marrage of my G grandmother Margaret Lee & John Witts both married before and living in Usworth there church was Usworth holy trinity i have looked through the records and can't find any marrage at the church does anyone know how thay could have been married.
there marrage was about 1903 i have checked before and after that date no record.

A search of free BMD shows the marriage to have taken place somewhere in Gateshead Registration District, 4th quarter  1903, 10a 1139.

They couldn't have been married at Usworth, as that was in Chester le Street Registration District.
