I was following a resource link to the Durham 1894 Whellans Directory and found my ancestor, Lancelot Rowe, on there. The number next to his name is 1181. Can anyone give me anymore information about his entry?

I assume that means his business was in the Parish of Beamish? And is that like a coffee house type of place  Huh
