Can anyone identify the cap badge as worn by my great uncle Henry "Nen" Taylor please.

My inital thought is that the badge is that of the Royal Engineers.

The "Ginger Beers" eh !

All I know is that he worked with horses in civilian life and I have another photo of him in uniform on horseback.

As an aside, Great Uncle "Nen" and his wife had no children. Though he died before I was born, I feel I ought to try and document his life as much as I can.

I'd go with the Royal Engineers as well.

Doesn't look like any of the mounted Regiments, definately not the Artillery and also doesn't look like any of the service/ancillary corps or RMP.
