We NEVER see a thrush now.... and at the moment ALL that comes into the garden are 'Magpies' Pigeons and blackbirds.... the occasional Robin and a few little finches... Never a sparrow or starling or thrush... .. I do have two cats but I've always had cats and it never stopped the birds before... ho hum I am in the midlands.... anyone in this area see Thrushes.... what about you Rabbit??? xin Thrushes, starlings, sparrows, blackbirds, ring doves, collared doves, magpies, blue tits, great tits, robins, wrens, sparrowhawk (once), the odd buzzard overhead and owls heard but not seen. If you regard mid Staffordshire as the Midlands
And aspidistras flower at ground level in this country too - small, boring browny purple things, but slugs tend not to get near them to pollinate them in indoor pots
Back to the topic ...?
