Unit identification - can anyone help?
« on: Monday 29 June 09 15:35 UTC (UK) »

Hi,

I wondered if anyone could possibly identify the unit from the photo?

I'm afraid it is a bit blurred and there is no cap badge unfortunately.

edit: I think it dates from after 1933 as he is shown with his wife who he married in 1933 but could be anytime after that up to and including WW2.

Thanks
Paul

The Cheshire Regiment has been suggested.

I'm trying to get a better resolution copy of the picture to confirm this.

Thanks

It looks similar but I don't know if it was worn as collar dogs.

Cheers
