Do any of the users have any old photograph of the above property that you could email me a copy - it would be greatly appreciated ?

I am based in London hence unable to get to the library in Dumfries.

You could try contacting the Dumfries and Galloway  family history society,

or contact the Ewart Library, the staff there are very helpful
