England. C. 1945-04. Group Officer Eily Richdale of Melbourne, Vic, recently appointed WAAF staff officer at RAF Technical Training Command is a member of the De Lany family, well known in the Australian gold mining world. Her mother, Mrs M. De Lany, is living at York, WA. Group Officer Richdale served in the last war with the AIF. Since 1938 she has lived in England and joined the 99th (Bucks) RAF Company of the Auxiliary Territorial Service (British) 1938-11, transferring to the WAAF on its formation the following year. Her husband is Group Captain C. R. Richdale CBE, Provost Marshal of the Mediterranean Allied Air Force.
There is no marriage to 1939 on freebdm.

Interesting posts there Leanne and Cando
Have tried to find a marriage in Astralia but no luck as yet, She seems to have returned from WW1 as unmarried. Perhaps if we could find the mother or fathers death notice it might reveal if she was married at the time.

Thanks to Jenn,Cando and Leanne, I have most of this information it's the marriage info and what happened after 1945 I'am mostly interested in, on Find my Past I have a couple with the same surnames ( Richdale) leaving India for England in1928, so I think they married between 1919 -1928 in England or maybe India, thanks again, Chris
