I wonder what town RC members would count as their home town ??

Is it where you were born ?   Where you live now ?   Or where you have lived longest ??

For me it's the place I was born.  Proud of my home town roots!

Mine is ... here, I suppose, as I've lived near Monmouth for over 30 years now ... but before that ... the world !!

For me my home town is Paisley where I was born.  I have moved around a bit, but still think on Paisley as home.  Cuthie

Like the song goes "Home is where the heart is". Home is where you are/were happiest, loved etc. It's not necessarily the place where you park yourself every night after work but a place of the mind & soul.

I lived in London whilst I was growing up.
I then lived in Oxford and in Leeds, before coming back to London.
I now live in Oxford.

Absolutely, and without question, London is my home, and wherever I live, always will be.

I have to agree with this sentiment.  My FAMILY home town/village I still regard as Sipson, next door to and under threat from Heathrow airport.  None of my family have lived there since 1988 when my grandmother died.  Before that there had been family members there for 300 years.

For ME home is now Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire.  I have lived here for more than half my life having previously lived in Cornwall, Surrey and Devon.  I married a local girl and I guess my heart decided it wanted to stay.
