Over or Hargrave - please help

Hi All

If someone put on their census as being born in Marton would they have been christened in Over or could it have been Hargrave.  What I am trying to say is which one is nearer.  My relative was born approx 1816 and his father was Richard.  I have two to go at and each born in the above places, sorry if this doesn't make sense but I am ever so hot Embarrassed

Del - sorry, at first you got me confused, as I'm more familiar with the Marton near Congleton. Anyway, GENUKI's page would suggest either Over or Whitegate

Whitegate has been put on the Cheshire Parish Register database site

There are some Cheshire parishes on the Familysearch pilot site
http://search.labs.familysearch.org
I don't know if they have either Over or Whitegate, though.
