Marriage: George Galbraith and Louise??? 1930's

At last, my son-in-law's grandmother has managed to remember her first husband's parents names. So I can now try to find their details.

George Galbraith married a woman known as Louise (but it may have been her middle name) probably in the Glasgow/Renfrew area, and they had a child in the latter half of the thirties, so I am assuming this marriage was 1933-1935, roughly.

It's not much to go on, but it's the best I've got. Anyone have any ideas?

strange  Huh

when i searched at first it first it said renfrew
used a credit to look at the detail and it said cathcart lanark
the index only goes upto 1933 so not sure if that is what your looking for

Oh wow ev, that's promising. The area is iffy anyway. There can't have been many George Galbraiths marrying Louises, can there? I'll look into that one. Many thanks.

Apparently most of Cathcart was gobbled up by Glasgow in 1912, so Cathcart "moved" from Renfrew to Lanark, sort of. You know how these things are:)
