Hi Sophiedog,

It's no problem trying to help you . . . I am rather concerned that I can't find John Henry b.1874 with these parents in either 1881 or 1891

And.... where is Nellie in 1881 - she's only 7

Hi Sophiedog

Just to confirm it is transcribed as groom's name Thomas Bishop Brown, father Thomas Bishop Brown.

This family didn't show much imagination when naming their children Grin

Betty

Bettyofkent, the posting below Quoting marriage of Thomas Bishop Brown to Annie Artlett is a message to you,in the blue quote messages. Huh

Marriage

And here's his birth.

Thats the one Laurina, and I failed with a marriage of Thomas Bishop Brown,  born 1898,too many to give me it said on Freecen so I did the count button and it came up with two but middle name was Benjamin NOT Bishop, and the wrong year completly. Never mind..

Most of the marriages will not give you a middle name at this time, just an initial - so he'll appear as Thomas B Brown. If you knew Alice's surname it would make it so much easier to find the marriage.
