Hi Lesanne - I don't have a copy of the Buckingham registers I'm afraid, so can't help with this one immediately. If I'm at BRO next week, I'll try to look if no one has come up with the answer in the meantime.

And there is this one from nearby parish

21 May 1781 Sarah Norris to George Seckington of Brackley Nth at Mixbury

   Sue

I think that these two are my ancestors although this has always been a bit of a black hole.  They had a son William Seckington bapt 1781 in Mixbury who I think married Sarah Tucker in Loughton Bucks in 1810.  The weakness of this link is whether I have identified the correct William marrying Sarah Tucker.

Thank you Lesanne but I can't think of a way of breaking this unless I can turn over some more evidence.  William died in 1846 and so the only evidence tha I have is the 1841 census which shows him age 60 born in Buckinghamshire but in my experience that is often wrong.

One of his sons, Daniel who was born in Loughton was buried in Akeley in 1821 which is very close to Mixbury and is very strange as every other piece of evidence shows them in Loughton.

My posting on this thread was in the hope that someone might suggest that I have the right or wrong William.
