look up please for ann gillon.

hi,i am trying to find the death cert for my g/g/grandmother ann gillon. i have her on the 1861 and 1871 cencus living in 24 store row,oakley. i know from her son james birth (1855)cert she was born in lisnaskea,fermanagh ireland. i have tried all kinds of combinations on s.p.but to no avail.

hi merryhow, yes i have tried all combinations of gillon/mccafferty for fife,all regions,glasgow all regions,and all records all regions. on her son james birth cert she is listed as 31 years old so born around 1815. i have her husbands death cert for 1876 in calderbank,monklands. but i can find no record for ann.

Did Ann shows as alive or deceased on husband's 1876 death cert?

hi monica, death cert states married to ann mccaffrey,also on her daughter margarets marriage cert (1880) she is listed as deceaced.

hi monica, thanks for that i think its the right one as her husbands name on the cert peter (his correct name was patrick but he also used peter.)

That's great doch  Cheesy Pleased you got there! Peter and Patrick were interchangeable and particularly with those of Irish origin.
