Help please with my Wifes family
« on: Monday 29 June 09 22:03 UTC (UK) »

I'm trying to trace my wifes family tree. Her Uncle had a go at this last in 1998 and has a lot of names but not a lot of dates.

So I'll start with her Paternal Grandparents information as follows

Grandmother Sophia Arlow 1905 - 1991 married Grandfather Robert George King 1893 - 1978
We have no idea when they were married but believe it to be in Belfast or close by.

If anyone has come across these names can you please fill in any details?

The only other information we have is that Grandmother Sophias parents were Alexander Arlow who passed away in 1955 and Annie McLaughlin who passed away in 1954. I know it's not a lot to go on but anything would help at this point.

Thanks in advance and much appreciated.

Tony.

Thanks so much Mary and Kingerswell for the information. Since I just posted my Father in Law supplied the following information.

Annie McLaughlins parents were : - John Mclaughlin who passed away about  1908 and Annie MacHan ( or McGowan) he wasn't sure. I'm wondering if anyone could trace either of those . Again he's quite sure that they were either in Belfast or quite close.

Thanks again
Tony.
