Thomas Goggin born about 1835 Glaun Schull, County Cork, Ireland died 13 July 1911 Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Immigration 1863 on board the vessel Wantana to the Colony of Queensland. Married Ellen Mary Bowden 29 Jan 1874 St Mary's Catholic Church, Ipswich, Queensland, Australia

I need assist to find what the uniform that Thomas Goggin is wearing in the attached photos. Any assistance would be most grateful.

I think you would get more help if you posted in the Armed Forces section. Unfortunately the badge isn’t very clear and it could be very difficult to identify. You could also try the Ireland Resources section. 

I tried to bring out the detail in the badge but there is nothing there.
