The Infirmary, Harrogate
« on: Thursday 23 July 09 16:00 UTC (UK) »

Hello,

On the 1911 census I have one of my relatives noted as an Inmate age 15 at The Infirmary, Avenue Road, Harrogate.  Can anyone please tell me what sort of an inmate he would be and where I could find some more information about the infirmary in 1911?  I have checked on google without any success.

Your help will be very much appreciated.

Kind regards brads

The Harrogate People and Places website has some information, including extracts from a book on the Infirmary (or General Hospital). You can read about it at http://www.harrogatepeopleandplaces.info/publications/generalhospital/cover.htm.
